Hi Dee!
A Way Out is my bible for going raw. It provides all the reasons why you would eat this way. Some raw books I've come across are more about what you should eat and not why. This understanding is what helps me stay raw. It's also very concise and states everything very eloquently....you should check it out!!
Have a great day,
Sarah
Dee, is there a way to see only the new members that have joined since the last time you've checked? So that you don't have to look through all of the members area everytime. It will be more important as membership grows, but its a nice feature that most meeting sites have.
Thanks Dee! Still catching my breath from sharing so much. I look forward to talking, hopefully soon... May this Easter Season be a beautiful one for you...
you're very welcome.. and thank you too! I've been smearing some on celery that's a little bitter.. whoa. makes it way better! jazzed up a slightly bitter papaya with a couple the other day too..
Don't I WISH I knew where there were some fruit trees! Let me know if you find any! Steve Palis who is local is a good friend of Doug's and is apparently part of some rare fruit council here and I think the natural hygiene society.. he may also know the other person you mentioned to me.. what's his name again?
Would you send him an invitation to join us here?
The only garden I know is sweetwater organic farms here in Tampa.. membership for weekly or biweekly pickup.. mostly greens as I understand it.
If I hear of any, I'll be sure to let you know.. and you do the same, ok?
I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up living down your way one day... I've always thought I'd like to live just a little further south!
Thank you very very much for going out of your way to hook my up with those dates. They are DELICIOUS!
I have had a few at lunch with bananas the past 2 days!!
I'm on a mad search for wild fruit trees. Do you know of any in the Tampa area besides oranges and grapefruit? Also, do you know anyone who has an organic garden and is producing excess veggies?
Hi Dee,
It was great to have lunch with you at the conference this past week in Orlando Florida. I enjoyed learning your opened minded perspective on eating Raw. Refreshing.
I see you are a muse... ;-)
I look forward to keeping in touch. Love this site!

How long Raw?
I've been raw for about a year and a half and chose to try the "80/10/10" approach when I heard about it from Doug Graham at the 2007 RawWorld event in Costa Rica. It was life changing and I'm looking to meet other 811ers and talk about the struggles and wins... it's raw food at a different level.
My draw toward flour and sugar is still high...
How can Raw Island help you?
There's an emotional aspect to this lifestyle and eating that I think needs addressed more.
