I all...I advertised this forum on some of the other boards that I am on and I have since seen the member numbers grown AND I recognize some of you new members...lets get this forum hopping! I know you all have a LOT to say....
I'll Start....
My name is Cynthia...I live in New Hamsphire...I have been on and off raw for many years but the last few years I have made the switch to 100%...most recently I have switched again to 80/10/10....I am an artist/crafter...I paint just about anything old that I can get my hands on...I also do a lot of sewing for steady income...hmmm...I have 3 children...Free time...well don't really have any BUT when I do...I am usually outside...I love the outdoors...hiking, camping, walking, gardening...anything in the sun...we are in the heart of the winter here in New Hampshire now and I am dreaming nightly about gardening...just can't wait to get started...anyway...that seems like a good start...who's next...stop lurking...xox
Hey Cynthia.. thanks for posting on here and getting this forum started... I think a lot of people don't quite get the community thing yet but it's growing!
I love 80-10-10 even though I'm probably closer to 90-5-5..
recently I've been going through a major detox.... whoa! I know it's a good thing even though no one likes feeling like doo-doo while they're going through it. I'm amazed how many more 80-10-10 people I'm meeting.
Did you attend one of Doug's events or something? How did you hear about it?
I still struggle with the desire for flour/sugar and cooked foods.. the emotional eating is a strong draw. I'm better alone and am not one who feels isolated like so many others I've heard from.
are your kids raw or 80-10-10? your partner?
I love being outside too... I've never been to NH. I'd love to have a garden with all the fresh tropical fruits here... Do you have raw meetups or groups there? I just met a guy from CT that's into raw and knows a lot of the authors/speakers really well.
80/10/10 raw vegan recipes use fresh fruits and/or veggies and may contain a very small amount of raw nuts or seeds. Please do NOT use salt, oils, dehydrating, heating or dried anything. See how easy it is to keep it simple & eat so wonderfully!
no problem!
she said she was just tired of being limited to eating at only certain restaurants and foods =/
i think you should totally try lactagen. i mean, it's going really well for my friend right now and a doctor even recommended it on nationa…
well thanks, raleigh! that does help a lot :) could you possibly ask your friend what made her decide to give lactagen a shot? although i really do appreciate your help, i'm still not convinced yet :/
